Moose River Bed & Breakfast is located in Moosonee, Ontario, the final stop of the Ontario Northland Railway. Just eight miles south of James Bay, the historic waterway used by First Nations peoples and the Hudson's Bay Company for travel and hunting, Moosonee is full of history and rugged scenery.
Located in northeratsern Ontario, Moosonee is accessible by train via Ontario Northland or by plane via Air Creebec and Thunder Airlines. There are no roads leading to Moosonee, making this stop memorable for a lifetime! As you arrive into Moosone via the Ontario Northland Railway, either the Little Bear or the Polar Bear Express, look to the right of the train and you will be see Moose River Bed & Breakfast. It is a beautiful two-story building, very pleasing to the eye and well-suited to the comfort and privacy of our guests.
We are a short 5 minute walk to the train station and close to the main street area of Moosonee.
For those visitors who arrive by plane, there are several local taxi services available. A fare from the airport to the Inn will cost $4.00 per person.
